Dear John,
What can we do today that will make a difference 100 years from now?
Every morning, the FRC leadership team meets to pray and set priorities for the day. And I regularly remind the FRC team that we are to live not for today but in the light of eternity.
Our goal is not to make headlines with a tweet or attention-grabbing soundbite -- but rather to make history with policies, ideas, and advice grounded in eternal truths.
Headlines are read today, then they are gone. With history, others will read of and be impacted by the difference we've made -- often long after we have left the scene.
With great battles on the horizon, our FRC team has formulated four strategic priorities that will guide and direct our efforts in the years ahead.
Your gift today can help shape the church, the culture, and the nation in 2024!
Right now, generous FRC donors have pooled their resources for a $1 Million Year-End Challenge Grant to multiply your year-end donation -- so your gift of $50 becomes $100 and a gift of $500 has the impact of $1,000!
We are relying on faithful partners like you to help us reach our $3.5 Million budget goal by December 31 in order to start the new year ready to educate and inspire Americans to action. We could not do our work with you.
That's why, when you give generously today, you'll receive our new Stand on the Word Journal as a token of our appreciation for your willingness to stand firm.
DOUBLE MY GIFT NOW
After FRC's 40 years of standing for faith, family, and freedom, 2024 will be a monumental test.
Just briefly, here is an outline of the four priorities that will position FRC for impact in the critical year ahead and beyond...
- Rebuild. Our first priority is to rebuild the spiritual foundations of our nation. The prophet Nehemiah, who lived 450 years before the life of Jesus, mobilized a project to rebuild the physical walls of Jerusalem -- just as FRC seeks to rebuild spiritual walls.
"So we built the wall...for the people had a mind to work," states Nehemiah 4:6. But they soon faced opposition, and the faithful had to balance dual roles: "Each labored on the work with one hand and held his weapon with the other" (4:17).
Political change in America must be rooted in spiritual renewal. Our commitment is to disciple our children and grandchildren, participate in our local churches, and advance good policies, rooted in the transcendent truths of God that benefit all.
- Reach. FRC is on the verge of an exciting expansion. We are harnessing the power of technology and computer modeling to connect with people whom George Barna calls "SAGE Cons" -- Spiritually Active Governance Engaged Conservatives.
By utilizing cutting-edge tools, we can better engage this vital demographic and amplify their voices in the public sphere.
As you well know, the trend of viewpoint censorship has begun to define the media landscape, even supposedly "conservative" outlets. So, last summer, FRC launched our own news website, The Washington Stand -- as a direct channel for truth seekers.
We refuse to let the voices and votes of conservative Christians be silenced!
Will you join us and make the most of the current $1 Million Challenge Match? Your gift will have double the impact today!
STAND WITH FRC FOR TRUTH
I've already started to touch on the next point...
- Reinforce. In 2024, we have plans in motion to roll out a groundbreaking cancel-resistant digital platform. Building on the success of Washington Watch and The Washington Stand, this network will provide breaking news and analysis tailored for Bible-believing Christians.
We aim to create a thriving, interactive community where believers like you can encourage one another to live out their Christian faith.
But achieving these objectives relies upon the crucial fourth strategic priority:
- Resource. To sustain this effort into the next generation, FRC must be fully equipped to ensure every dollar you invest in our kingdom work is being stretched to maximum effectiveness. We are prayerfully identifying what key personnel, tools, and resources are needed to expand our influence and achieve our mission.
John, victory depends on us standing together. Scripture makes clear that we are far more effective when we work together as one body for the kingdom (Deut. 32:20, Eccles. 4:9-12; Eph. 4:16).
So, I am asking that you would prayerfully consider how the Lord is leading you to partner in prayer and financial support with FRC as we prepare for 2024.
I believe that we can see America transformed as we rebuild the spiritual walls, reach and activate Christian conservatives like you, reinforce the faithful, and resource the mission. Thank you for your generous donation that will make these goals reality.
Together, we can ensure our nation remains a beacon of faith, family, and freedom!
