With Republicans in the majority, 2023 has felt like a lifetime, and for all the wrong reasons…

Where do I even begin?

Kevin McCarthy became Speaker after 15 rounds of voting and led Congress to a near government shutdown. McCarthy was then ousted and replaced by a homophobe in MAGA Mike Johnson. And let’s not forget the George Santos drama and his expulsion from Congress altogether.

With Republicans in charge, it’s been exhausting, fruitless, and it’s the American people who are paying the price.

Here’s my take: We need a Congress less focused on theatrics and more focused on delivering real, tangible results. That’s exactly why I’m in this race.
