First and foremost, I hope you and the ones you care about are safe, healthy, and feel prepared for the changes happening as our country, and the world, confronts the crisis of the coronavirus.
This is a challenging time for all of us, and it is also a challenging time for our campaign.
We are done with large rallies for the foreseeable future, college campuses, places we do very well, are closing, and we have had to change the way our volunteers — one of our greatest advantages — interact with voters.
And confronting those challenges means we have to change our approach as a campaign competing for delegates, and that requires additional resources. So we need to ask:
To be clear, we are only asking you to contribute today if you can afford it. Some can’t, especially right now. Others can, and if you can give for yourself and maybe for those who can’t as well, it’d mean a lot to Bernie and to our campaign.
