John,
We know the holidays are a special and happy time of year for so many people, but around here, it can be a bittersweet time. While we’re all so fortunate and grateful to have helped exonerate nine people this year and reunite them with their families, we’re always thinking about the thousands of innocent people who will be spending their holiday season behind bars.
The Innocence Project represents more than 200 people in prison who are fighting to prove their innocence and are currently awaiting justice — including Melissa Lucio, Rodney Reed, Robert Roberson, Jimmie “Chris” Duncan, and Morton Johnson.

For them, receiving letters of support — especially during the holidays — is a comforting reminder that people care for them and will continue to fight for justice in their cases.
So will you take a moment right now to send a thoughtful message of holiday cheer to Melissa, Rodney, Robert, Jimmie “Chris”, and Morton to let them know you’re thinking of them?
Thank you so much for your support, and happy holidays!
