Important fundraising goal.
John,
This year has proven to be a pivotal moment in our continued fight for immigration reforms. Judicial decisions have left Dreamers in a state of uncertainty, ongoing threats to asylum seekers persist and divisive rhetoric often dominates the national conversation around immigration.
Through our work, we are changing the conversation with police chiefs, pastors and business leaders speaking out on the value of immigrants and immigration reforms to change the conversation and build commonsense reforms. Are you with us?
Despite the political environment, we know that the majority of Americans want
Republicans and Democrats working together to pass immigration reforms that address labor shortages and inflation, and protect people already here and contributing. The Forum’s work on Capitol Hill and partnerships across the country have shown this type of change is possible.
We need to raise $50,000 by the end of the year so that we can expand the Forum’s advocacy efforts in 2024. Will you chip in today?
In 2023 alone, we have made significant strides toward bipartisan reform and
supported immigrants in their communities. Here are just a few ways our team has built bridges this year:
- The Forum’s team worked diligently to educate and dispel immigration myths by producing 62 white papers, fact sheets and bill analyses for policymakers.
- Our English at Work (EAW) program offers immigrants access to language and digital skills enhancement, paving the way for improved career prospects.
- The Forum and partners mobilized Florida constituents to lessen the impact of proposed harmful changes to Florida’s immigration-related policies, resulting in the protection of in-state tuition for Dreamers and removing language that would criminalize routine, day-to-day activities for undocumented immigrants in the state.
Changing the narrative around immigration requires a strong commitment from supporters like you, John.
John, your support today will put us one step
closer to expanding these advocacy efforts and continue fighting for lasting, solutions-based immigration reform. Make your first donation of any amount today to join the cause and be a champion for change. Your generous contribution empowers the Forum to champion advocates who stand up and speak out for immigrants across the country. We thank you for your ongoing commitment and support.
With Appreciation,
Jennie Murray President and CEO National
Immigration Forum
