Hi John, it's Representative Brandon Woodard, and I'm proud to be serving my third term in the Kansas House. As one of the youngest and first openly gay members of the legislature, I'm also proud to be working with the Kansas Democratic Party to deliver proper representation and protection to some of the biggest targets of Kansas Republicans.
All Kansans deserve protection, privacy, and freedom, and the Kansas Democrats are working hard to make that a reality.
John, Kansas Democrats are on a mission to continue growing, flipping seats, and ending the Republican Supermajorities – but we can't do it alone. We've set a generous $10,000 Digital End of Year Goal to start 2024 strong, and we're depending on our grassroots supporters to help get us there. Can you chip in to support the Kansas Democrats? Kansas Republicans have tried to push their radical social beliefs in the legislature so that they can be wedged into our schools, businesses, and homes. They are dedicated to suppressing LGBTQ+ media, literature, and public presence. Republicans are in the midst of a culture war, while real adults and children suffer at their hands.
Despite the Republican Supermajorities extremism, Kansas Democrats have been able to come together over the last few cycles and :
Elect our first openly LGBTQ+ legislators
Elect more young leaders to the House and Senate
Defend public education and fight for proper funding
With your support, the Kansas Democratic Party will be able to continue loosening the extremist grip on Kansas, and we'll start seeing a government that works for everyone.
John, we know Kansas is diverse, and it's about time we start making the legislature reflect that. The Kansas Democrats have set a $10,000 Digital End of Year Goal to make sure we can continue creating a truly representative government next year – will you join us with a donation to help start 2024 strong? Thank you,
Rep. Brandon Woodard
For generations, we’ve been guided by the simple belief that Kansans deserve better. Today, we’re ready to write the next chapter – together.
Kansas Democrats believe what brings us together is far stronger than what divides us. We strive to protect the freedom of the individual, while working together to actively contribute to the vibrancy and vitality of our communities. We believe that government has a responsibility to promote policies that provide economic and social justice, access to healthcare, a clean environment, and safe workplaces. Government has a responsibility to improve the human condition. Kansas Democrats are committed to putting the people of Kansas first by promoting the values and policies that advance the common good for all Kansans
