It's time to elect a new board for 2024! Nominations for the board are open until December 20 and candidates will speak at our monthly meeting on December 21. Find a description of each position and more about being on the board here. Open positions include:
Vice President (incoming VP serves for two years; in second year, VP becomes President)
Treasurer
Secretary
Membership Director
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Director
Accessibility Director
Communications Director
Outreach Director
Expectations:
Only current members can nominate someone (or themselves) for one or more positions
You must be a current member to serve on the board
You can become a current member by paying dues here by 5 pm on December 20
On Thursday, December 21, we'll have our final monthly meeting of the year for the board election both virtually over Zoom and in person at Brick River Cider at 7 pm.
We’ll be at St. Louis County Dems' holiday party this Wednesday, December 13. Doors open 5:30 pm at Teamsters Hall Local 682 (5730 Elizabeth Ave). Tickets are $10 and include food, drink, and a vote in the ugly sweater competition! Join us!
We have one other event before board elections! Join us on Thursday, December 14 at Molly's in Soulard (816 Geyer Ave) for fun and a good time. All are welcome! Feel free to come with any questions you might have about joining the board in 2024.
