John, did you catch my appearance on MSNBC this morning?

I just wrapped my appearance on Morning Joe about our campaign to get the right to reproductive freedom on the ballot next fall in Florida.

We've had a MASSIVE spike in interest in our work since last month's elections, when Ohio voted in historic numbers to enshrine the right to abortion in their state constitution. Everyone wants to know if we can do the same thing here in Florida next year.

Like I just told Morgan Radford, I don't think there's any doubt – when this thing is on the ballot, it will pass. And we CAN win – but it will not be easy.

We've already helped collect hundreds of thousands of petition signatures and are continuing to gain even more momentum. We ultimately need to collect over a million validated signatures across every county in Florida.

I know we can get this done, John. We are more organized than any ballot initiative in our state's history and have the support of Florida voters on our side.

Now, it's just a matter of dotting every i and crossing every t to make sure that every petition counts and can be added to our total. But the process of validating a petition is expensive – by design – and this is the last month for us to collect petitions. That's why we've set a mid-month goal to raise $25,000.

On average, it costs us $15 to see one petition through from start to finish, and we have to make up this shortfall now. Will you sponsor the cost of a petition – or two, or three – right now so we can capitalize on this momentum and reach our critical goal?
