Thanks to the hard work of LCV supporters like you, we together submitted 21,118 public comments to the White House Council on Environmental Quality in opposition to Trump's attempt to gut the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

Trump is trying to roll back NEPA to undermine communities' ability to provide input for federal projects taking place in their neighborhoods and allow agencies to IGNORE considerations of the climate crisis before the projects move forward.

Communities of color, low-wealth communities, and Indigenous communities are already most likely to be near environmentally hazardous major projects and are the most likely to face dangerous exposure to air and water pollution. Gutting NEPA would be a further attempt at silencing frontline voices and entrenching environmental racism.

Our communities are in crisis, but dedicated LCV supporters like you made the choice to speak out. Together we're shining a light on Trump's egregious attacks ? thank you!

When you speak out and submit public comments, you join hundreds of thousands of activists across the country fighting to protect our communities and environment.

I can't say it enough friend: Showing the Trump administration that the public won't stay silent as they attack our health and environment and further environmental racism isn't possible without the thousands of LCV supporters who speak out, mobilize, and financially support our work to prioritize the needs of our most vulnerable communities.
