I want to let you in on some of the conversations we’re having at the Democratic Party as we prepare for 2024. In particular, this new report from NPR:
Sometimes overlooked by campaigns, Native American voters could decide major elections in 2024
Now, my friends and I, who are Native people, have been saying this for years! There are over 5 million Native, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native voters across our country; We can swing elections in key states like Arizona and Minnesota, and yet too many candidates never talk to us.
As the first Native American woman to chair a national party organization, I can now help change that within the Democratic Party. I’m calling on every candidate running in areas with Tribal communities to commit to showing up this election: knocking on our doors, shaking our hands, and answering our questions.
If you agree this is important, will you sign my petition calling on every Democratic candidate to SHOW UP and talk to Native voters in 2024?

It’s not just the only way that Democrats can win in 2024 — it’s the right thing to do.
Sincerely,
