Dear John,
Five decades have passed since I arrived back in the U.S. after witnessing the 1973 Chilean coup.
In those five decades, together we built an advocacy movement that helped to change the ways that Congress and the U.S. government conduct foreign policy.
I have been lucky enough to witness so many of WOLA’s exceptional achievements and the moments we have fallen short along the way – both of which are vitally important to how far we’ve come as a community.
In this season of reflection, I can confidently say that you’ve been an integral part of our work, and I am taking a moment to reflect on how grateful I am for your support and solidarity. Thank you!
