NARAL Pro-Choice America recently changed its name to Reproductive Freedom for All. Our name may be new, but our mission of protecting and expanding reproductive freedom remains the same.
Breaking news, John: The Supreme Court just agreed to hear a major abortion access case.
We know the Court's anti-abortion supermajority led by Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Amy Coney Barrett is chomping at the bit to further undermine our fundamental freedoms. We need to be prepared to respond, no matter what the Court decides. Will you make a donation right now to help us do it?
DEFEND REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM. PITCH IN NOW.
If the justices rule against reproductive freedom in this case, they could severely roll back access to mifepristone, pushing a safe, widely-used method of abortion out of reach for millions—including in blue states.
Mifepristone is an extremely safe medication (it's safer than Tylenol!) used in the majority of medication abortions, and medication abortion is the most commonly used method of care. Restricting mifepristone nationwide would have severe consequences on people's ability to access critical abortion and miscarriage care across the country.
This would have the biggest impact on abortion access in the United States since the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.
We have to start preparing right now to respond, no matter what the Supreme Court decides. That means organizing our four million members to be ready to fight back. It means holding anti-abortion extremists accountable, especially Justice Clarence Thomas. And it means unseating the MAGA extremists who got us to this point.
But we can't do any of it without the support of people like you, John.
We have a lot of work to do in the coming months to prepare for the potential fallout of this case. Will you make a donation to help fund this critical work?
