Our efforts to reach voters are shifting to the phones, and I need your help.
John,
Yesterday, looking at how the public health crisis was unfolding, our team huddled and made a tough decision.
We are shifting our Get Out the Vote efforts for the final days to be primarily based on remote phone banks. We’re also urging voters to take advantage of early voting to avoid lines and crowds on Election Day.
The bad news is that this is a significant disruption to the plans that have been in motion for months. But the good news is anyone can pitch in, no matter where you’re practicing social distancing.
Will you spare some time in the next few days to make some calls from home and help reach voters in the critical final days of this election?
We’re really hoping folks will step up, especially if you find yourself with some time on your hands.
But if you can’t, we’d also greatly appreciate anyone who’s willing to chip in to help cover the costs of this last-minute change of plans.
This isn’t the curveball we expected to come our way in the last weekend of this race, but we’re ready for it and we’re going to work our tails off to make sure the work gets done.
Everybody in! Thank you,
Marie
