Team,

Last week, 13 Republican Attorneys General submitted an amicus brief supporting Louisiana’s unfair Congressional maps.

The Republicans’ case seeks to dismantle private groups and individuals’ right to file lawsuits under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. In simple terms, if the court buys the Republicans’ argument, individuals would no longer have the right to challenge unfair maps or voter restrictions.

It’s a destructive and dangerous argument, and the GOP AGs have banded together to push hard for it. We wonder why Republican AGs wouldn’t want their states’ restrictive and discriminatory voting laws challenged in court?

Dem AGs are fighting back, but they need your support. Can you chip in $5 today to support Dem AGs and candidates in 2024 and beyond?
