Passing H.R. 6201, the Coronavirus Response Act

This week, Congress worked with President Trump to take decisive action that will expedite testing for the Coronavirus and help American families ensure that they can still pay their bills while times are tough.

The critical resources in this legislation will help American workers and families in need. Time is precious and lives are on the line. We have the world’s greatest health care system, the most innovative biotech industry, and the hottest economy in the world. America has made it through far worse crises than this. America will make it through this crisis as well, working together to keep families safe.

As your Congressman, I will continue working with federal, state, and local officials to accelerate Louisiana’s response efforts and our capabilities in fighting the COVID-19 virus. I have added a resource page to my website to keep our community updated on the latest Coronavirus developments.

This week, I hosted a conference call with several Louisiana hospital officials and medical experts to discuss how our office can be helpful during the Coronavirus pandemic.
