Congressman Jamaal Bowman and I know that leading with courage and moral clarity has its risks. Corporate interests and pro-war groups will do just about anything to silence those of us who speak up for peace and justice. That’s why we’re both facing new challengers in 2024 who have the backing of pro-war groups determined to spend $100 million in right-wing money in an attempt to unseat us. Because we legislate for peace and humanity, right-wing billionaires and their super PACs have put a target on our backs.

We won’t let that happen. Our grassroots movement has overcome millions in special interests and super PAC spending before and we can do it again.

Will you split a donation between Jamaal and I today to help us overcome the $100 million our movement is facing and help us defeat challengers who accept help from a super PAC that funded over 100 insurrectionists?

We refuse to sit around and watch a humanitarian catastrophe unfold as a result of the Israeli government’s military campaign in Gaza; we will raise our voices and organize for the humanity of Palestinians and Israelis alike because all human life is sacred. Every. Single. One.

Our call for peace doesn’t sit well with the billionaire Republican-funded super PAC, AIPAC, who has announced that they are going to spend $100 million against Jamaal, myself, and those in Congress who called for an end to the bloodshed in Gaza.

Whether it’s $100 thousand, $100 million or $100 billion, no amount of money will stop us from standing up for our values. That’s what we were elected to do for our communities, our movement, our people.

Jamaal and I both are accountable to the people first and foremost. That’s why we don’t take a dime of corporate PAC money. And at moments like this, we need grassroots support to show that our seats can’t be bought.
