Following the GOP’s plan of ignoring the issue won’t provide pragmatic solutions for this crisis. In fact, delayed action only makes it worse.
Democrats worked tirelessly to enact effective legislation to combat climate change. The Inflation Reduction Act is landmark legislation that invests in addressing the climate crisis while growing our clean energy economy and lowering the cost of essentials like prescription drugs.
Look: climate change is already causing tremendous damage to our communities and our planet. We can’t stand by and let Trump come back to the White House to reverse our progress—there is no time to waste.
