Dear John – Hi! My name is Abeni, and Brian is my dad.

Guess what? It's my 13th birthday today, and my dad said I could send you this super important, mega-official campaign email.

I'm really excited that my dad is running for Congress. Because really, my dad is not just my dad – he's my hero. He tells me all the time that being brave and standing strong for what you believe in is how we make the world a better place.

Dad has this incredible love for our community — for our Dallas. He's always talking about the people around us, how special they are, and how being able to serve as Congressman would be an honor for him.

I remember visiting the Capitol with my dad when he was working for Speaker Pelosi. Getting to see him in action was so cool. I’m so proud of everything he’s already done to make people’s lives better.

Did you also know that my mom is an artist? And if there's one thing she taught me, it's that sometimes you have to get creative to reach your goals.

So, for my 13th birthday, I've got a big wish to help my dad slay this race. Your support, no matter the size, would mean the world to me and my dad. Will you make a $13 donation? Your generosity is like the icing on the birthday cake! >> [link removed]

Thanks so much,

Abeni 🌟💕
