 Friend – Nothing makes me happier than watching our campaign and grassroots team grow, month after month. It couldn’t be more clear that people are fired up and ready for change here in Oregon. So with so many new folks on our team (welcome!), I wanted to take a moment to reach out, personally, to share my story and explain why I’m in this fight. I've never been afraid to stand up to anyone to ensure Oregonians can get ahead. It’s what my family taught me to do.  And as a State Representative, small business owner, and mother of four, I strive to live out these ideals every single day. That’s why I’ve fought hard in the state legislature to lower costs, codify reproductive rights, build affordable housing, address homelessness, and tackle the climate crisis. That’s why I’ve always been proud to mentor my employees and help provide scholarships to continue their education. And that’s why, when Lori Chavez-Deremer turned her back on our community to pursue a dangerous, extremist agenda, I decided to run for Congress. I believe in the future of Oregon. I know we can pass down an Oregon that my kids and yours are proud to come back to. But with an ultra-competitive election ahead, I can’t do it alone.
