If you’re like us, you’re practicing social distancing to keep the public safe and eating peanut butter with a spoon. While we do that, we want to make sure that you’re up to date with the latest on how the pandemic is affecting voting. (First, if you have not already, please read the CDC’s guide on how to keep yourself and others safe.)
Public health officials continue to advise people to limit our time in public spaces. So here’s the good news: If you need to vote, you probably can do it from home. In many states, you can request your ballot be sent to you by mail, no excuse required (certain states still do require an excuse such as injury, temporary absence, or illness).
