Make a Difference for Global Partners!
|
There's still time to contribute to our Global Partners Matching Gift campaign! Since 2016, we’ve partnered with smaller organizations worldwide to enhance their ability at the local level to expand access to family planning options and reproductive health care, to remove barriers to girls’ education, and to conserve local natural resources through public health initiatives.
Last year, we expanded this incredible program to partner with 19 organizations all over the world, thanks to donors and supporters like YOU! This year, a fellow generous supporter will again match your donation—and all donations!—to support our Global Partners, up to $250,000, through December 31st! I hope you'll take part in this special campaign. |

Measuring Population Education's Impact |
Year after year, our PopEd program has earned a reputation for educational excellence. To ensure we continually improve our materials and trainings, we ask educators who have participated in our workshops to provide feedback.
Over the past 10 years, we have trained over 100,000 educators through 5,000+ Population Education workshops and webinars. PopEd offers both in-person and online workshops. No matter the format, our top-notch facilitators lead memorable trainings, giving educators timely and innovative classroom materials for teaching global issues. Educators consistently rate PopEd workshops as superior to other professional development events they’ve attended.

The latest issue of Population Connection magazine is here! In this issue, Dr. Jane O’Sullivan, a researcher at the University of Queensland in Australia, gives an informative interview on the shortfalls of the population projections most commonly cited by the media. She also advocates on behalf of funding strong family planning programs in order to achieve the fertility decline top demographers assume will happen soon.
