These days, I try not to share too many of Trump’s antics on the campaign trail. I know I’m not the only one who finds it exhausting to hear him constantly spew such hate-filled ideas.

But something he said recently made me stop in my tracks: Donald Trump said he would be a dictator “on day one” if he was elected President again.

I don’t believe he is kidding. I believe he’s dead serious.

If Trump wins he will be emboldened to act like the dictatorial leaders he so admires. We must take him at his word.

We have to build in guardrails against his prospective presidency. That’s why my race is a must-win. Democrats must win back the House to stand against Donald Trump and the Marjorie Taylor Greenes of the world.

So, can I count on you to rush in a donation to my campaign today? We cannot look the other way - have to prepare, now.
