Anti-Israel hatred on college campuses is out of control.
At George Washington University in our nation’s capital, the medical school hosted a panel declaring that Hamas terrorists have a “right of resistance” — in other words, that their barbaric terrorist attack on Israel was justified.
The panelists ridiculously accused Israel of “ethnic cleansing” and “genocide,” while ignoring Hamas’ well-documented war crimes and atrocities against Israelis.
Do you think this hatred is okay?Or is it time something is done about this unhinged extremism on college campuses?
Join AIPAC today to stand with pro-Israel leaders in Congress who are holding university leaders accountable.
At George Washington University alone, there have been more than a dozen documented incidents of anti-Israel harassment this year.
After Hamas’ attack, anti-Israel students projected messages onto the GWU library building, including “Glory to our martyrs” (celebrating the Hamas terrorists that raped and murdered Israeli civilians) and “Free Palestine from the river to the sea” (calling for the destruction of Israel).
The Department of Education is even investigating a GWU professor who allegedly harassed Jewish students with antisemitic comments during a mandatory “diversity course.”
It’s critical that leaders in Congress continue to put pressure on these schools and their leaders to combat this anti-Israel hate. You can do your part by helping AIPAC stand with our elected officials who are taking action against this extremism.
The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
