Eight years ago today, the Paris Agreement was adopted by nearly 200 nations that pledged to take action to lower emissions and combat climate change. In 2017 Donald Trump withdrew the United States from the agreement, but thankfully, President Joe Biden rejoined the Paris Agreement on his first day as president and recommitted America to the fight for climate justice.

This much is clear: climate change impacts the entire planet and every part of our lives. We can’t afford to wait any longer to take action.

Dwight and House Democrats helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act — the most extensive environmental legislation in American history — to commit $370 billion to fight climate change. But Dwight is demanding Congress do more to address this existential threat.
