John, we are facing a public health crisis – and it’s only getting worse:

According to
The Washington Post, 1.1
million students attend a school where at least one gun has been found. That’s simply not acceptable – for the students, for us teachers, for our families, for anyone.
Schools should be a safe place for children, teachers, and all school staff – but instead, millions of people are being traumatized by gun violence, code red drills, and lockdowns
every day.
Every sector of our society should be focused on preventing these tragedies and further trauma. But rather than making our schools safer, politicians are voting for dangerous policies like permitless carry and arming teachers with minimal training.
We can’t continue to live like this, John.
That’s why Teachers Unify To End Gun Violence is organizing teachers and school staff. We know our collective outrage over this public health crisis can change hearts, minds, and policies. But it’s going to take all of us fighting back.
We’re teachers, not political fundraisers – and we’re relying on grassroots supporters like you, John, to help fund our movement. It’s critical you step up today and join the fight for safer schools.
Please – will you rush a $25 donation today to help us empower teachers all across the country to fight for safer schools? We’re counting on your help to protect and save lives >>
Thank you,
Teachers Unify To End Gun Violence
