I hope you're ready for some feel-good moments,
John!

Thanks to the support of people like you, our climate movement has
organized game-changing climate events this year.

People all over the world came together for climate events — from local
community centers, church basements, or their local restaurants — to
protect our planet.

If you weren't able to make it to these events, here are some of the
highlights from around the world — [ [link removed] ]and if you have one more minute,

Climate Justice Squad

This year, 350.org with Together for Future launched The Climate Justice
Squad. In partnership with Mitzi Jonelle Tan, one of our long-time
collaborators, The Squad was set up to help young climate activists
worldwide in finding their feet by giving them mentorship, training,
financial support, and opportunities to collaborate on a global scale.
With your help, we've kick-started the journeys of 40 young leaders,
prioritizing activists from marginalized groups from the Global South.

NYC Climate March

On September 17th, over 75,000 climate activists joined the March to End
Fossil Fuels, the largest climate demonstration in the US since the start
of the pandemic. Demonstrators put pressure on the Biden administration to
end new fossil fuel projects such as Alaska’s controversial and newly
approved Willow project.

Asia Solidarity Lab

This year, we launched The Asia Solidarity Lab, a dynamic platform that
brings together amazing activists, thinkers, and artists from across Asia
to address critical social and political issues. With a commitment to
social justice, the Lab provides a space for meaningful dialogue,
collaboration, and creativity.

With so much at stake, we have been skilling up a new generation of
activists from around the world to help tackle the climate crisis.

If we are going to phase out fossil fuels and rapidly transition to 100%
renewable energy, we need activists, organizers, and campaigners from
every corner of the world to pressure leaders to accept our demands.
