Over the past 16 Days of Activism, you and thousands of Global Citizens from around the world have advocated for women and girls. We’ve called for greater investment in sexual and reproductive health and rights, the economic empowerment of women, and the end of child marriage.

However, the fight doesn’t end here. Women and girls around the world continue to demand that their human rights be respected and upheld. Did you know that in 187 countries, women have only 75% of the economic rights and legal protection as men? This is unacceptable.

Empowering and investing in women and girls is key to achieving social justice, human rights and ending extreme poverty. By working together to uphold women's sexual and reproductive health and rights as well as promote women's economic independence, we can create a fairer, more equitable world!
