Last week, ten fraudulent electors who attempted to overthrow the outcome of the 2020 election conceded Biden won Wisconsin. One of those fake electors is Bob Spindell, a member of the Wisconsin Elections Commission.

But Republican Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu refuses to remove Spindell from the commission despite his attempt to undermine democracy.

Wisconsin Republicans have made it crystal clear: They will not back down from defending Donald Trump, no matter the situation.

It’s sickening that the same Republicans who tried to fire Elections Commissioner Meagan Wolfe for not succumbing to political pressure vow to support a commissioner who tried to overthrow a free and fair election.

Enough is enough. Republican extremists will continue to do anything they can to amplify conspiracies that will keep them and Trump in power. We cannot let them continue to abuse their power in Wisconsin.

It is going to take a lot of resources to take back the legislative majority in Wisconsin, but we cannot back down under any circumstance. Because backing down today would be allowing extremists to further erode our democracy.

Republicans will continue to spread lies and conspiracies. And I do not doubt that if President Biden wins Wisconsin in 2024, they will once again try to overturn election results.
