Dear MoveOn member,

Donald Trump's trial in Georgia for spearheading a criminal enterprise in
an attempt to overturn his election loss will be aired live on national
TV—and he wants to turn it into a political rally, amplifying his lies
about a stolen 2020 election and falsely playing the victim of political
"persecution."

Trump knows what a huge opportunity live national TV coverage will be for
swaying public opinion. In fact, he's pushing for his federal election
interference trial in Washington, D.C., to be televised, as well.^1

That's why, if we can raise enough money, MoveOn will air hard-hitting TV
ads during the Georgia trial, combating Trump and MAGA lies as millions of
voters in swing states watch. MoveOn will cut through the legal jargon and
procedure and capture the essence of the case in powerful and compelling
ads.

It's a critical opportunity to help voters understand Trump's crimes and
Republicans' complicity in his attempt to destroy our democracy, and it's
a chance to finally hold them accountable.

But as a grassroots organization, we can do it only with your help. Will
you help ruin Trump's pity party? Please donate $5 a month
to help air TV ads during Trump's televised trial and keep them up
throughout the trial and for as long as it takes.

[ [link removed]- ]Yes, I'll chip in monthly.

[ [link removed]- ]No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

While the televised trial will enable the public to get an unfiltered look
into Trump's crimes, Trump is a master at manipulating the public, and you
can be sure he will be grandstanding at every moment to try to make
himself, not our democracy, the victim in the trial.

We need to be prepared, John. We can't afford to miss this
moment.

But securing airtime to run our ads is incredibly expensive, and we know
that Trump's billionaire, MAGA backers will be racing to buy up as many
advertising spots as they can. Which means we have to move quickly.

Together, we won't let Trump turn his Georgia trial into a pity party. But
our team can do this only if we have enough resources, John.
Can you donate $5 a month to help air TV ads during Trump's
televised trial and keep them up throughout the trial and for as long as
it takes to get the truth to the American public?

[ [link removed]- ]Yes, I'll chip in monthly.

[ [link removed]- ]No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

Fani Willis, the district attorney in Atlanta, charged Trump with 13
felonies, including racketeering charges under the state Racketeer
Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, or RICO—a powerful law
enforcement tool typically used to prosecute organized crime.^2

In emails just made public, Willis predicted long jail sentences in the
case.^3

But if Trump wins the presidency next year—which the polls all show is a
distinct possibility—all bets are off, because a sitting president has
never been prosecuted, and Trump would do everything possible to use the
presidency to get himself out of criminal liability.^4,5

John, Trump belongs in jail, not in the White House. But what
happens is in large part up to us. Together, we can educate voters about
Trump's criminality and mobilize voters who might otherwise stay home on
Election Day.

Help us ruin Trump's pity party and join our fight to defeat him and MAGA
Republicans in 2024. Can you donate $5 a month to help
MoveOn air TV ads during Trump's Georgia trial and power MoveOn's critical
work to win in 2024?

[ [link removed]- ]Yes, I'll chip in monthly.

[ [link removed]- ]No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.

Thanks for all you do.

Want to support MoveOn's work? Book bans have skyrocketed thanks to
right-wing state laws which have forced teachers to remove books from
their classrooms. In response, MoveOn is launching a "Banned Bookmobile,"
filling it with books that the far right has banned, and driving it around
to hand out those books, for free, in highly trafficked areas that will
attract media attention. To keep the Banned Bookmobile up and running into
2024, we need your help.

Will you start a monthly gift to power our critical work?

[ [link removed]- ]No, I'm sorry, I can't make a monthly donation.
