According to recent studies by the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP), nearly half of our fellow Texans are shelling out more than 30% of their household income just to keep a roof over their heads. Costs are rising while incomes grow stagnant.

Overall, Texas ranks as the 6th worst state in the nation for affordable housing. Rising housing costs threaten to push many hardworking Texans to the brink. It's time for a change.

In Congress, I'll work on solutions – affordable housing, expanded access to childcare, and reduced living costs for our families.
