We are in a hunger crisis. Again.

Now that most of the pandemic-era government aid has ended – and inflation is still taking a big bite out of food budgets – hunger is once again skyrocketing, including child hunger. The soaring hunger numbers are so heartbreaking because they represent real people; people who feel ashamed, helpless, invisible. We will keep fighting until everyone has access to affordable, nutritious food.

We are so proud of what we have accomplished this past year. Thanks to your partnership, we connected over 5,000 households to vital food programs, securing them more than $18 million in SNAP and WIC nutrition assistance benefits.

Despite our best efforts, the nation experienced a major decline in overall charitable giving in 2022 and 2023, the first such decline in decades, and our organization was not immune. Our funding has decreased at a time when people need us more than ever.
