Earth is demanding we step up to stop climate change.

This year will officially be the hottest year on record, john.

In just the last year alone, we saw Florida's ocean temperatures reach a staggering 101.2° – the temperature at which most hot tubs are set. Arizona saw saguaro cacti, a plant known for its heat resistance, die as temperatures rose to 110° degrees for over 25 days. And here in Washington, our wildland firefighters lost precious time to better prepare for the dry season due to increasing extreme heat and increased temperatures.

Climate change can have deadly consequences, and Kim knows that we only have a few years to make major changes before we see irreversible and profound damage to our environment.

It's why she helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which made the single largest investment in climate solutions ever, and the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which included provisions to protect our forests, rivers, and streams. But to combat climate change, we have more work ahead of us.

It's time to recommit to combating climate change and protecting our environment. Join Kim by signing your name today and urge Congress to act in the fight against climate change >>

Thanks,

Team Schrier
