Yesterday, a woman named Kate Cox had to flee the state of Texas for a life-saving abortion. In her absence, the cowards on the Texas Supreme Court demonstrated that there is no depth to which they won’t sink. This just shows us again that abortion bans don’t work. This is not just politics as usual. This is someone's real life. THIS IS INHUMANE.

We are on the precipice of 2024. The GOP is in their flop era, and is going to find out AGAIN how far they are from their base on the issue of abortion. In Texas, extremists up and down the ballot will pay for their treachery with their seats. Count on it. 

What we are seeing in Texas and across the country is political thuggishness that is playing out on the battlefield of women’s bodies. With cities across Texas now moving to block Texas women from seeking even out-of-state abortions, the terrifying possibilities we have long warned about are here.

To Kate: We are with you. No one should ever be put in the position you have been. We send love and support on behalf of millions of Women’s Marchers. 

To the Texas GOP: We know this isn’t your first rodeo with stripping rights and attacking women. It’s not our first rodeo with unseating extremists. We will see you at the ballot box next November. We promise.
