It’s been an incredible year at Easterseals, thanks to our generous community! Here are some of the ways you’ve helped the people we serve in 2023: We helped thousands of kids develop skills to effectively communicate, learn, and grow in inclusive environments thanks to our early intervention programs. We helped an older adult overcome obstacles like homelessness, unemployment, and other challenges through the Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). She now has a home and steady income. She said, “ This program changed my life.” Through ES Gaming, a new nationwide initiative for inclusive video gaming, we’re supporting people with disabilities with opportunities to connect and amplify the message of inclusion. We continue to create more spaces where disabled voices can be heard and authentic experiences can be shared through “Everything You Know About Disability Is Wrong” – our new podcast by disabled people for disabled people. We helped disabled veteran John reintegrate into civilian life and find gainful employment through our Veteran Staffing Network. It’s thanks to your support that we’ve been able to inspire so much hope and create so many brighter futures in 2023. We can only make 2024 another year filled with life-changing health care, support services, job training, and education programs with your generous support this holiday season.
