URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Protect 6,510 acres of public lands from greedy fossil fuel companies!

Our public lands are precious. Some contain stunning geologic structures: archways, canyons, and dramatic mountain peaks. Some are home to unique and endangered wildlife – from top predators like grizzly bears and gray wolves to majestic birds such as the greater sage-grouse. Communities across the country get their drinking water from public lands.

In short, public lands, their inhabitants, and all who rely on their resources should be protected – not sold to the highest fossil fuel bidder!

The Department of Interior is planning to lease THOUSANDS of acres of public lands to companies who will drill, frack, and mine away in North Dakota. Public lands will be destroyed so a greedy executive can line their pockets. The DOI is considering public opinion, but the comment period for this lease sale ends in just a FEW DAYS! Please, Friend, tell the Department of Interior to PROTECT our public lands from greedy companies and STOP fossil fuel lease sales! >>

Fossil fuel drilling POISONS the air with toxic pollution. The consequences impact nearby communities and wildlife. In some cases, fracking can even contaminate drinking water with radioactive waste! Air pollution causes major problems too. People exposed can suffer from respiratory illnesses, splitting headaches, nausea, and more.

Fossil fuel companies aren’t oblivious to these consequences – they’re aware of the effects of their industry. That doesn’t stop them from polluting if profits are involved.

The Department of Interior knows the impacts too – but unless they hear from environmentalists like you, these lease sales in North Dakota could move forward anyway! Take just 30 seconds to help SAVE public lands from fossil fuels! Sign now!
