Anti-LGBTQ activists want the general public to believe they're leading a grassroots movement. They want people to think they're the ones that are standing up for kids - and that they have a majority of support from Americans.

But the levels of support they enjoy are a lie (just like the lies they peddle about healthcare for trans kids). Recent reporting by the Associated Press and Vice show that many anti-LGBTQ bills are spread by just a handful of extremist groups. They feed these bills to select lawmakers, literally copy and pasting the bill's language across state lines. They give lawmakers false stories and fake testimonies about the "dangers" accepting of LGBTQ+ people and vilifying trans people. Then, they turn around to say they're a national movement, when the truth is the complete opposite!

Look, these groups are desperate. They know the majority of Americans don't buy into their nonsense. We see the rejection of their hatred every election cycle, as more and more LGBTQ+ people win their campaigns. That's why we have to keep working. Pitch in to train more LGBTQ+ leaders to run winning campaigns and chisel away at this disgusting hate!

Look, these bigots know they can only win if they spread hateful lies, demonize trans people and recruit bigoted legislators. The best way to beat them at their own game is to keep training LGBTQ+ people to run for office and ensure trans people have an equal seat at the tables of power.
