Over the past few weeks, America has faced a new enemy. One that we didn't expect at this time and one that is proving to be quite challenging to overcome.
America is in a fight with COVID-19, more commonly known as the Coronavirus. A virus that is believed to have started in Wuhan, China, and has spread to over 100 countries in a matter of months. Earlier this week, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially classified the Coronavirus outbreak as a global pandemic.
In response to this pandemic, President Trump and the Trump Administration have established a Coronavirus Task Force to ”monitor, contain, and mitigate the spread of the virus, while ensuring that the American people have the most accurate and up-to-date health and travel information.”
The task force is headed up by Vice President Mike Pence, followed by Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, and 11 other administration officials.
The task force has taken necessary immediate steps to combat the spread of the virus. Earlier this week, President Trump addressed the nation from the Oval Office, announcing that all travel from Europe to the U.S. will be restricted for 30 days. President Trump went on to explain several additional steps being taken to help combat the spread of the virus and support the American economy.
Today, he also declared a National Emergency, which is intended to help provide more federal aid to states and municipalities to help slow the spread of the virus.
While the situation may very well have been overhyped by some media outlets, it is important to treat this outbreak serious, to take precaution, and to continue to monitor ways to combat the virus.
The most important things: wash your hands with hot water and soap for 20 seconds and do so frequently. Avoid touching your face. Sanitize commonly used surfaces in your home and place of work. Keep a good distance from others. Avoid large crowds if possible. Realize it is possible to spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms and be mindful that the elderly and those with already compromised immune systems are the most at risk. Finally, don’t panic. This will pass and if we work together and be mindful of what it takes to prevent contracting and spreading the virus, we can mitigate a lot of the turmoil that could otherwise come from this.
Finally, we’d like to thank the Trump administration and the Coronavirus Task Force for taking quick and decisive action to help protect the American people.

President Trump's plans to secure our southern border are working.
Not only is the southern border wall serving as a powerful deterrent against illegal immigration, but President Trump's decision to end "catch and release" has effectively stopped the surge of illegal immigration at our Southern Border.
Promises Made, Promises Kept.

Things that drive us crazy? The mainstream media attempting to blame the Coronavirus on President Trump.
Over the course of the past few weeks, the mainstream media have been taking cues from the Democratic Party when it comes to the Coronavirus. So, it's no surprise that they're trying to blame President Trump for the outbreak.
The New York Times even went as far as to say, “Let’s Call It Trumpvirus." Going on to say, "If you're feeling awful, you know who to blame."
At a time when American safety and security is in danger, President Trump is calling for unity in fighting against this epidemic.
But what are Democrats and the Mainstream Media doing?
Putting personal political ambition, ahead of the American people, and politicizing a virus to take cheap shots at the President of the United States.
Pathetic.
On Wednesday, February 26, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Trump Administration can withhold millions of dollars in law enforcement grants to make states cooperate with federal immigration law enforcement officials...
