This has been a crazy week to say the least. The WHO has declared the coronavirus a global pandemic, Gov. Polis declared a state of emergency here in Colorado, and Trump has finally declared a state of emergency for the entire U.S.

As a country, we were not prepared and now we're dealing with a Senate that is unwilling to take the necessary steps to protect our citizens from health concerns and economic disaster, including our very own Cory Gardner.

Furthermore, our legislature has yet to enact an extension for petition gathering, leaving our rock star team of staff and volunteers out in the elements collecting signatures because we all know the importance of flipping the Senate, even in the face of a global pandemic.

Our circulators are carrying hand sanitizers, a fresh set of pens, and doing everything conceivable to protect themselves and the people they come into contact with from spreading this highly contagious virus.
