One thing is clear: our government needs to step up and protect the American public from the further spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). 

 

That's why I'm grateful to have colleagues like Katie Porter beside me in the House, who are willing to fight to make the American people safer. Yesterday, Congresswoman Porter made headlines by getting a high-level Trump official to agree to make coronavirus testing free for all Americans. This is exactly the kind of leadership we need from our federal government right now.
