When Virginia Democrats flipped the Virginia House of Delegates, it was a huge blow to Republican Gov. Youngkin and his plans to restrict abortion access.
Dems now have a 2 seat majority, and PCCC-endorsed candidate Joshua Cole is responsible for flipping one of those Republican seats.
Joshua ran in a newly-drawn, evenly split district that voted 51% for Youngkin in recent elections -- and he defeated a candidate handpicked by the Virginia Republican Party.
Joshua has lived in Fredericksburg and Stafford County his entire life. He understands the issues Virginians are facing and has been a tireless advocate for his hometown.
In 2019, Joshua became one of the youngest members in the General Assembly after winning Virginia's 28th district. As Delegate, he voted to increase access to affordable healthcare, raise the minimum wage, and make community college tuition free.
We are proud to support Joshua, and ready to support more candidates like him in 2024.
We have ambitious goals for local endorsements and candidate training in 2024. We can only fund this candidate support with your help.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
