Michigan is the focal point for 2024 for two critical reasons: the control of both the House and the White House hinges on West Michigan.

West Michigan has historically leaned conservative. However, in 2022, I successfully became the first Democrat in nearly 50 years to hold this seat and the first woman ever. Republicans are determined to bolster their support in my hometown, recognizing the strength of our campaign.

Despite the odds, I surpassed the performance of top-of-the-ticket Democrats, making our campaign a target for the GOP. Their efforts aim to undermine my position, suppress district turnout, and reclaim this seat in 2024. They have sent four separate candidates to see if any can spread enough lies and misinformation to defeat our grassroots movement.
