There’s a moment every month where we take stock of our progress and determine whether we’re on track to hit our goals or if we’re going to come up short.

That moment is coming up.

If we’re on track to our goal, it’s great. If we’re ahead, we can make more critical investments. And if we’re behind, we have to reel in our budget. That can hurt our chances at winning.

We’ve started looking at our progress, and we don’t have much good news to report. We’re behind where we should be, and alarm bells are ringing.

This isn’t any regular deadline, and this isn’t any regular goal. This is our last FEC deadline of the year, and this is our last chance to hit our overall fundraising goal for 2023. What we raise now is the foundation that our entire campaign will be based on.

It is absolutely critical to victory — critical to holding the Senate, critical to defeating Kari Lake, critical to taking this seat back from Kyrsten Sinema — that we start 2024 on level financial footing.

It would give Ruben and this whole campaign a lot of peace of mind if we made good progress to our goal today. That means we need good supporters who understand how important this race is to chip in.
