After a lower court ruled that Kate Cox would be allowed to have an abortion in order to protect her health and future fertility, the Texas Supreme Court halted the ruling.
As a result, Kate has left the state to get the care she needs and deserves.

Republicans are using the courts to control healthcare access for women.
But I refuse to let them get away with it, John.
I believe that abortion is a right. That life-saving health care is a right. That choosing what to do with your own body is a right.
And I believe that the Republicans who support these despicable anti-choice policies must be defeated.
That’s why, when I’m Texas’s next U.S. Senator, I’ll vote to abolish the filibuster and codify Roe.
But I can’t get there without your help.
