Friend, it's Kyle Kilbourn, and growing up my family didn't talk about the news or the government. In fact, we hardly had time for politics at all – in the rural Midwest, my family only worried about one thing: putting food on the table.

Many families in Northern Wisconsin are in the same position my family was 30 years ago. Republicans like Tom Tiffany haven't been able to effectively combat the rising cost of living, yet they consistently vote against funding the government services that many Wisconsin families depend on.

Wisconsin's 7th Congressional District needs a representative that will fight for our communities to get the resources we need.

Friend, we may not all be "political", but we all know that the cost of living is becoming unbearable for many Wisconsin families. There's a way we can change this, and it starts with electing new representatives that are focused on putting people first. Will you help me become the representative North Wisconsin deserves?

My parents didn't have time to be politically engaged while raising me. My dad was a construction worker and my mom was a waitress. They both worked multiple jobs and abandoned higher education just to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table – like a lot of Wisconsinites are finding themselves now.

Folks are depending on their politicians to make the right calls, but Rep. Tom Tiffany has been using his position to stall government funding, destroy the integrity of our democracy, and give tax cuts to the rich INSTEAD of focusing on the needs of our hard workers and families here at home.

I'm fortunate enough to know the struggle and recognize that we can't keep letting families suffer at the hands of our own government. I'm in a position to make the change we need, and I'm ready to give it my all.

That's why I plan to 1️⃣ attack the cost of living crisis for families struggling to make ends meet, 2️⃣ address the failing healthcare infrastructure so our families can be happy and healthy, and 3️⃣ make sure our workers can bring home livable wages.

I'm running to address the issues that really matter, and create solutions that work for all of us.
