It’s become something of a cliché at this point for pundits and journalists to constantly predict electoral disaster for Democrats.

In recent years, hundreds of articles have made fatalistic claims like “Dems in Disarray” or “Dems Facing Historic Defeat” And most of the time, they’re wrong.

The truth is this: Neither Donald Trump nor the Republicans who enable him have any supernatural abilities to win elections.

Here’s what they do have: A near-endless supply of right-wing cash, a highly motivated base, and an astounding lack of shame or ethics – none of which equal certain victory, if we fight hard enough.

So here’s my proposal: Let’s put this “Dems in Disarray” clickbait to bed once and for all.
