Dear Preservation Supporter,

Out of concern for the health and safety of our visitors and staff due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), many of the National Trust’s historic sites are temporarily closed or significantly curtailing hours and public events. We encourage you to check online for up-to-date information. National Trust staff across the country will work remotely to continue our vital work to save America’s historic places.

Thank you as always for your steadfast support of America’s cultural heritage. Our mission is to enrich lives by saving our past, and now more than ever, we look to our history for courage, comfort, and inspiration. While it might not be possible to visit these places in person, they are still very much open for business virtually, and we encourage you to check out our online collections portal featuring objects and exhibits from our historic sites’ collection, or check out the many sites and museums across the country offering virtual tours.

As always, our most heartfelt thanks for all you do to preserve the history, stories, and places that unite and sustain us. The National Trust wishes you and yours continued wellness, safety, and good health.

Sincerely,

Paul Edmondson
President and CEO
