Canadian Mining company Solaris Resources recently announced its intentions to advance exploration of the Warintza mining project on Indigenous Shuar Arutam (PSHA) territory, located in one of the most biodiverse places in Ecuadorian Amazon.

For over two decades, the PSHA have firmly resisted mining on their lands, launching an international campaign “The Shuar Have Already Decided: No Mining!” in 2019. Join a Tweet storm today to amplify their message demanding an end to mining on Indigenous PSHA territory.

TAKE TWITTER ACTION: NO TO MINING IN SHUAR ARUTAM TERRITORY!

Solaris Resources mining company does not comply with international standards of Free, Prior, and Informed Consultation, as it seeks to impose the Warintza project by promoting community division to manufacture consent for the project. The PSHA count on your voice and solidarity to take on the mining industry’s tactics.

Join a Tweet Storm to amplify their demand that Solaris Resources and the Ecuadorian government respect Indigenous autonomy to decide what happens on their territory! If you don’t use Twitter, support by reading and sharing this blog post with your friends and family.
