There are close, winnable House races in every corner of the country. Looking at the 2024 battleground map, it’s clear that a lot of these races are in districts where there’s a huge mismatch between the current member of Congress and his or her constituents.
Extremists in Congress try to blame their hardline positions on their constituents, saying that they’re representing the people who sent them there. That’s gaslighting, and we’re tired of it. We’ve never met a constituent or voter as extreme as some of the clowns in Congress.
Those are the districts where the Blue Dogs are focusing their efforts — close, winnable races where the incumbent is misrepresenting their voters.
But we’re willing to go even further than that. Anywhere there’s an extremist hardliner who is putting their own political agenda ahead of helping their constituents, that’s a district we’re looking at.
See, the Blue Dogs aren’t afraid of the big fights because the Blue Dogs are the toughest fighters in Congress. Not over petty politics, but over things that truly matter and making sure that our constituents’ voices are heard in the nation’s capital.
So the next time you hear about Red to Blue districts in the 2024 election, remember that the Blue Dogs are leading the charge in those races.
