Friend,

As a former health professional, it is now abundantly clear to me that Donald Trump is not up to the task of making sure this country is safe during a global pandemic.

It is of the utmost importance that each of us continue to stay informed about the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak and take personal steps to limit the disease's spread. Here's what the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that we do to stay healthy:
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. This is especially important for people who are at higher risk of getting very sick.
  • Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in Los Angeles County.

I had my campaign compile resources for frequently asked questions about this outbreak. You can find those here.

We will get through this.

Sincerely,
