As you may have seen from our email yesterday, we decided to postpone our in-person Week of Action scheduled for early next month in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
While this sets us back, we can’t afford to lose our momentum. Since we aren’t able to gather signatures in-person for the Patients Over Profits campaign, we have to rely much more heavily on digital outreach. That’s where you come in.
Without in-person events, it will take a HUGE digital push to reach our goal of 50,000 signatures. The majority of people reading this email won’t sign on, but if just 1 in 7 people added their name — we’d be halfway to our goal today.
Why is 50,000 signatures so important? Once we reach this milestone, we’ll be able to share this number with press to amplify our message and use it as a point of leverage to pressure Congressmembers, mayors, governors, and candidates for office to sign the pledge. The more people who sign, the more credible the pledge becomes.
If you’re just getting caught up on the Patients Over Profits campaign, here’s a quick overview and explanation why it’s so important that you join ↘

We really appreciate your help keeping this campaign on track and helping us make this the next litmus test for all of our candidates and representatives moving forward.
